Mommy and Me
Mommy and Me is a class for our little ones who are two years old or aren't quite ready to go into the classroom alone. An adult family member (someone who the child feels comfortable with) will escort him or her into the class and participate in the activities. In this class, we play games and sing songs to help the dancers understand good classroom behavior. Mommy and Me is structured to stimulate coordination skills, listening skills, balance, music interpretation, creative movement and motor development in the youngest dancers. This program is an excellent introduction to the world of dance! After December, we slowly introduce the students to going into the classroom on their own. 30 minutes

Jumps, Extensions, and Turns
JET is a fun and challenging class that focuses on learning “dance tricks”: jumps, turns, floor work and combinations of each. Students will gain strength and placement through conditioning exercises to warm up. These training routines focus on the dancers’ core as well as feet and ankles and will be done in consistent repetition to encourage improved jumping and balancing techniques. Students will then be guided in the proper way to approach their tricks safely, and with correct techinique, using guided progression tactics. They will practice proper execution, blending tricks with choreography, as well as implementation of acro skills. Dancers can perfect their traditional jumps and turns, be challenged to obtain some new exciting tricks and maybe even create some of their own! This is a non-recital class. 60 minutes
